Is there anyway to gift a charm to all friends?

  Gifts can only be sent to friends individually. There isn't an option to send gifts to all friends at once.

  why isn't the friends list alphabetical?

  If you currently have your Friends List set to view Online friends first, this will display your friends who are currently online in alphabetical order. However, you can select the option to view your friends in Alphabetical order. This option is at the bottom of your friends list.
