How do I get Friends no longer on line from 2015 + from my friends list?
How do I delete friends from my friends list that have been on here as inactive for years?

you will go to your friends list click on the one you want to remove it will bring you to their profile and you will go to more then go down to remove friend.

On my friends list there appears with my friends picture a black box which asks if I wans to delete them. Sounds simple to me.

You can now remove multiple friends at a time. When you move your mouse over a friend's avatar, click on the box in the upper left corner of their picture, then click Remove in the lower right corner of the screen. This will remove all the friends who have been checked.
