Gems & Taxes
The Zone has started passing taxes unto the consumer when purchasing gems. This is understandable and maybe the Zone should consider raising the number of gems received with each purchase to help offset this consumer burden.
Average state sales tax rates vary between 4% & 7%, so if the number of gems purchased for the same dollar amount was increased by 10% all of the members would come out ahead and feel more comfortable with purchasing gems in the future.
Food for thought.

I also purchase Gems on " Buy a Friend Gems Day " for me and my wife's zone accounts . We hope that day is not removed from monthly gem buying for us to continue play on the zone !. .

I agree. We Use to get more gems for our money until around 2 years ago. $500.00 use to get you 152,000 Gems on Double Gem Day now you get 99,000. And Yes we need to keep "Buy a Friend Gems Day" so many people use this to buy for there spouse or a friend in need.

Yes, I think that is a great Idea. I too understand the taxes. But agree with a few extra gems to make up for it. I don't see it hurting that much and would be a great goodwill gesture.
While I have you, I have a lot of friends from the UK. Should they get some kind of break sense the lb.is worth more than the dollar. I feel for them. So at 1.16 to 1.00 So at 100 dollars they pay 116.00 and they already have a higher tax rate 20%. So at 500 dollars + tax it is 532.00. For the UK it is 500LB +20% tax is 600LB. or 695 dollars. Can you convert dollars in to pounds for price. Doesn't seem to fair. That also would be a great goodwill gesture.
Thanks,

As far as I'm aware the UK Gov. does NOT charge VAT on gambling or gaming. This is according to HMRC website. I would like to understand why you are charging me, because I don't. I feel that I should be able to buy in USD currency, I would if I were to buy anything else from the USA. What amounts to $700 a boat load is extreme. I know that you are able to do this as you charge people from South Africa in USD not their South African Rand, which ofc is far weaker than the USD. I just want fair please. Thanks. People enjoy going to parties & gifting charms, but sadly you're out pricing us.

OK, I don't get response. So lets not talk about tax. I'm wondering why in UK 100 dollars worth of Gems for me, which you charge them 100 pounds which equals 116 USD. They are paying more for less product. Not counting tax, why can't you adjust price so that they pay same price as the US. I am pretty sure that is not a government thing. Thanks

Yes, I know how taxes work and who gets. I am not talking taxes. Nor am I trying to cause any problems. I only had 1 question and tried to make it simple.
The question is: Why do some countries pay more than other countries for Gems, before tax?
That is as simple as I can ask. Thank You
You can contact me directly for a some I can name. I didn't want to post this question on here but I don't think you were getting what I was trying to ask. Thanks again.

I strongly agree with GM Chips post on Gem Taxes and adding 10 % more gems per dollar purchase .

"I'm sorry, but the amount of Gems received with each pack are not going to be adjusted for the taxes"
They don't have to be adjusted for taxes but they should be adjusted for the spirit and goodwill of your customers.

I'm very sorry, but we have to go by the laws for where you live. Zone is not receiving any of the extra charges you're receiving. This is all being received by your government.

I'm sorry, but the amount of Gems received with each pack are not going to be adjusted for the taxes. Zone Online Casino is not receiving the extra amounts players are being charged. This is going to the government.
