Can you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing?

    Samantha,

Nope, I'm afraid that I can't. The displacements I'm describing are graphical "motion," which a screenshot, by definition, cannot capture. I can attempt to clarify precisely what it is that I'm seeing, though.

After the recent changes, player avatars in Texas Hold'em are being abruptly and periodically displaced (i.e., their locations, relative to the background graphics, change), with somewhat irregular periods on the order of seconds. For example, an avatar might suddenly "disappear," only to "reappear" essentially instantly but at a slightly different location (e.g., ~50 pixels down and to the left, or up and to the right). Prior to these recent changes, all avatar "motions" were smooth (i.e., they were in line with what one might expect for gameplay at ~30 FPS), and during the intervals between these displacements, they still are - in other words, the graphics aren't consistently "choppy." Also, I'm only seeing this problem with Texas Hold'em; in charm parties and other games in which player avatars are displayed (i.e., blackjack and 3-card poker), I've not noticed anything like this happening.

I'm assuming that this problem stems from an attempt to "fix" another issue - large avatars having their heads "cut off" at the top of the screen. And that was an issue that needed fixing. But visually, these sudden displacements are both unsettling and distracting, and they are significantly detracting from my enjoyment of the game.

Thanks a bunch for getting back to me. I hope this description helps.

    Alice
